Approved by the VIU Board of Governors in December 2023, the International Travel Risk Management Policy and associated procedures provide a framework to support the safety of VIU students and employees involved in university-sanctioned activities abroad.
Risk management for international travel is a shared responsibility across the university between various administrative units and the individual travelers.
